All counselling starts with an assessment to ensure that we are the best service for your needs. This is usually done through the Self-Assessment Form (below). It may also be done by a counsellor with you, usually on the phone or via a video call. If you prefer this to a self-assessment, please get in touch by calling our answerphone service on 07464 477994, by email on firstname.lastname@example.org, or via the contact form on this website.
When we receive your assessment, it will be screened by our clinical consultant to decide whether counselling with us is the appropriate way forward for you. If we decide that our service is not best placed to help you, then we will try to signpost you to the most appropriate help.
